We are a friends and family friendly resort.

We try to cater to our guests to make them as comfortable as possible. Our Great Room has a view of the mountains, expansive Tundra, and a bit of the Bering Sea. There is plenty of room for Guests to visit & share stories.

Enjoy Gold Dredging on our property or a remote location as well - Your Choice! Along with lodging and meals, we provide you with valuable how-to on making the most of your Alaskan gold adventure. We have to mention, almost all who come say that a day is never enough, but a week or more was PERFECT to really take everything in.

We offer shuttle from and to the airport and try to limit our Guests to 20 per week,

which keeps it small enough to provide our guests with that personal touch.

amazing getaway experience, with memories to last a lifetime.

LODGING

A room in the Lodge is included. For an additional cost you may book a Cabin if available.

The large Cabins have a small refrigerator, microwave upon request, coffee pot,. toilet, shower & a sink.

We have shower & laundry facilities for our guests

Our rooms are furnished with linens, towels all the comforts of home (as much as possible)

Meals are Home Cooked.

AKAU Alaska Gold & Resort is all about making your stay easy! We provide Breakfast, Sandwiches, snacks and Dinner too.

We serve Breakfast at 7:30 a.m., Lunch 12 p.m. & Dinner at 7:30 p.m.

Sandwiches or soup is available for lunches. You can take a sandwich with you while you venture about the area or search for gold.

We have snacks available for guests that need to eat often.

Fresh homemade bread is baked on a regular basis.
